Healthy Chocolate Pudding Recipe
So continuing on with my version of an end of Easter chocolate come-down, I have a new treat that contains much less guilt than the pack of 5 creme eggs i consumed over the long weekend!
As a side note: since when has a box of creme eggs only contained 5 eggs instead of 6!? And since when did 5 creme eggs cost £1.bloody 99!?
Anyway, I’d like to show you this simple yet delicious Chocolate Avocado Pudding recipe which is so healthy it’s hard to believe it tastes THIS GOOD.
Avocado Nutrition Good, Avocado Taste Not So Much
Now hands up who loves the nutrition content and benefits of avocados but can’t stand the actual taste or texture….. me!
Ok, so what if I told you adding a little cocoa and honey can completely disguise the taste of avocado? Try my healthy brownies for proof 😉
And what if I said blending it all up makes it turn into the most silky velvety soft chocolate avocado pudding you have ever tasted?
Well I am! And it couldn’t be more simple!
2 x avocados
1/2 cup almond milk
1/4 cup cocoa
1/4 cup honey
Optional toppings include – chia seeds, fruit, chocolate chips, sprinkles, coconut flakes….
Simply blend up (in a blelnder….!), spoon into bowls and pop in the fridge!
I use plastic storage tubs so they can be stored in individual portions with a lid ready to eat when I need them. In the ones pictured above, I topped with strawberries and chia seeds and then sprinkles and white chocolate chips to make it fun for the kids! Delicious.
